There Comes a Time

old watchThere comes a time whereby we are utterly gripped by the Word of God. For I find it absolutely necessary that I actually “do the good I know I ought to do.” (James 4:17) Many may wonder from where my facebook and my twitter has gone; there is no need to worry, for these have gone where they belong. It is not enough to know what we ought to do, but to do it. I can hear the Jesus’s words to me, “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?” (Luke 6:46)

Recently, deeper longings for more of God and His perfect will has driven me further into His presence; for I find absolutely nothing in this world that can compare. I encourage my brothers and sisters around the globe to ‘grab onto’ Christ and stay forever fixed. Look to Him alone – for He is the “author and perfecter of our faith.” (Hebrews 12:2).

Take time to ponder and pray through the following verses, especially in light of how you have and will respond to the rapidly increasing darkness of our age.

“Be angry, and do not sin; ponder in your own hearts on your beds, and be silent. Offer right sacrifices, and put your trust in the Lord.” (Psalm 4:4-5) “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.” (Psalm 51:17)

Let the Lord God be glorified and found true, though every man be found a liar. Romans 3:4

Great words brother praise God for His constant drawing us to Him for a better walk and a better witness. I too have struggled with these same issues and have been guilty of laying our laundry and so called Christain life as an example to others. Instead of living a life pleasing to Hod and His will for me. ” if you love me you will obey my commandments” and ” my commandments are not burdensome”. Well they are burdensome if your kicking agsinst the goads. Please pray for me as I will you brother to be more Christ like then warren like . Christ bless you and your family always!
