I do love this man’s testimony. It is a great reminder for us all, that we need to look deeper, ask questions and pray for people. Although Ray Comfort and the ministry has done a lot to teach people the beginnings of how to share their faith, especially utilizing both the Old and New Testament passages, I do not believe that sharing the Gospel with others is to be merely one “method” or a “one-way-suits-all” witnessing program. I share this video, not to argue how to share our faith, but to see a story of a transformed heart (Jer. 31:33; Ezekiel 36:27, 37:14).
“For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
1 Samuel 16:7
Do watch the video clip for what it is and take it to heart. Let it be a good reminder that we must not judge by simple outward appearances (*I am not at all talking about judging those inside the church in regards to willful sin [1 Corinthians 5:11-13]). Give room for the Lord to save souls and see them sanctified; remember, you and I were once apart from Christ, heading down a pathway of rebellion and enmity towards God. May we learn to love as Christ does us; for God is love (1 John 4:8), may we do the same (1 John 3:10, 14, 4:8, 20).
“We love, because He first loved us.”
1 John 4:19
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8
