“Be ready in season and out of season.” 2 Timothy 4:2

Just as the season continue to change, so do we. As many of you are aware, a few months ago we made the decision to start working again as travelers in Radiology. My wife and I have not worked as travelers, although we have moved enough to be travelers, for about 14 years. We never anticipated this is what we would be doing, especially that I am now 46 years old, married and with 5 rapidly growing children. Yet, we feel that is what we are to be doing for this season. Regardless, we are to be ready to “give an account for the hope that is in us” (1 Peter 3:15) both “in season and out of season.” So no matter where we go and who we meet, this ought always to be every before us – boasting only in that we “know and understand Him.” (Jeremiah 9:23-24)

Three months ago we started downsizing (a continuous battle in the U.S.) and packed up 97% of our things into a 10′ by 20′ storage locker. We recently purchased a used 5′ by 9′ trailer. Trish and the kids, not to mention myself as well, fit our current home schooling supplies, computers, clothes, toys and a few theology books, into our trailer. I have roughly 6 days left to work here in mid Wisconsin and then we will be off to work in Northern New Mexico for 3 months. Our rental home will be about an hour away up in the mountains of Colorado. At this time, I am supposed to only work 3 – 12 hour shifts (plus call). We are hoping this will enable us to see some long time friends and visit the very town where the grace of God came to save me and set me free.
