Lost in the woods, lost in the city, lost in the desert? Knowing the direction of true north is an absolute. Even more so in our day, this day of rampant confusion and deception, bad called good, wrong labeled right, people wandering in the lostness of their minds and being made numb (or is it dumb?) by glowing plastic illuminations. Minds controlled, altered and given over to wretchedness of political and cultural relevance said to us by puppets glorified on the screens, the little beasts of the plastic gods, making for personal lostness amid mental emotional wokeness – truly a ramped up deception unmatched in global scale and unprecedented in history past.

However, for you and I, we need not be lost as we can know true north. A northland of unknown, foreign and quite at enmity with the former said. A northland? Yes. The northland of the One to whom all creation longs, yet all depraved hate. Look at the witness prior to us (Hebrews 11). For if you have breath in your lungs, impulsing of your heart, life in your blood, then look to True North, the Logos made manifest.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despised the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. (Heb. 12:1-2)

Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against Himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted. (Heb. 12:3)

In your struggle against sin you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. (Heb. 12:4)

There is hope, there is a True North, however, are your looking and believing, trusting and obeying?
