Pride

June 2022 | Remember this:

“God opposes the proud, but give grace to the humble.” James 4:6

Men need grace, but they shall not received it when pride reins. Grace is needed far more than anyone of us can know.

So then, “clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” 1st Peter 5:5

So boast then in the greatest of names, the greatest name that could ever describe a man, woman or child – Jesus Christ, aka. Christian (a derogatory name first given to followers of Christ, those of The Way, in Antioch [Acts 11:26]).

So, let the wicked go crazy. Humility, obedience and rightful boasting starts with us (true Christians). Then speak the truth, in love, by the Spirit of God, through much prayer, to those who know not where to “cast their anxiety” (1st Peter 5:6, 7). Let us not forget from what dung heap the Lord saved us, if indeed we ourselves have truly been changed in heart (Matt. 7:21-23).

Let us BE Christians – hated yet blessed; persecuted yet full of joy; under God’s discipline and conviction yet free from the bondages of sin and death.

Pride knows not grace; humility knows not pride; humility and grace are quite close friends.

Blessings all!

PS. The rainbow, in all it’s true colors, IS OURS! PERIOD! And it stands a promise to all who will “turn” unto the One True God, believing upon Him through Christ Jesus, in faith. And all the misuse in the world by depraved men and women can never altar, change, nor harm the only true God. Culture, media and mankind can never harm, dictate, nor alter truth, they can only deceive themselves.

“Bloodthirsty men hate one who is blameless and seek the life of the upright.” Prov. 29:10
