Only one life, ’twill soon be past,

This last Sunday Pastor Brett Baggett, of Ekklesia Muskogee, gave the last of two messages dedicated to Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” There is little doubt that the exposition given through this verse is one of the best I have ever heard; it was clear, concise and as if one of the puritans or reformers was heralding the Word! Continue reading “I can do all things…” Not Exactly!

Daniel was literally taken away captive into a foreign culture, made to learn their history, rules, ways of living; Paul was constantly standing before wicked rulers being beaten near unto death; Jesus suffered and died when He was absolutely innocent. Consider for a moment 1 Peter 2:21-25, 4:1-2, & Philippians 2:5-11. Continue reading “So You Have a Reason To Complain That Jesus Didn’t?”
